WHO WE ARE & OUR STORY

A faith-based organisation that advances the Gospel of Christ: igniting faith and prayers in sisters, interceding for communities, and supporting purpose with love.

From Nigeria to the Nations

The Journey of Sisters Pray Outreach

Sisters Pray Outreach began on 10 November 2019 in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria .

It began with a burning burden: to see women and families return to genuine prayer, seek God deeply, intercede for others, and become vessels through which God's love transforms broken communities.

Since then, the Holy Spirit has expanded this vision beyond a single town or nation. SPO now has a growing international presence across Nigeria, the United States of America, Canada, and the United Kingdom .

The organisation's desire is to see prayer become a lifestyle rather than merely an activity on a church program.

Our Identity

“Purpose in Love”

SPO is a faith organisation that advances the Gospel of Christ; we exist to ignite faith and prayers in sisters, intercede for communities, nations, families and people, and support purpose with love.

What We Mean By “SUPPORT”

Support at SPO is never limited to financial assistance. To support purpose with love means:

Going out to reach people directly
Sharing the Gospel courageously
Encouraging and lifting weary hearts
Praying and travailing with people
Counselling, listening, and discipleship
Providing practical assistance where possible
Empowering individuals toward their purpose
Supporting vulnerable community members
Helping people encounter Christ's unfailing love

Statement of Faith

WHAT WE BELIEVE

SPO is Christ-centred, Scripture-based, and interdenominational.

Our Biblical Convictions:

1 Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour.
2 The Bible is God's Word and our foundation for faith and conduct.
3 Salvation is through Jesus Christ.
4 Prayer is essential to the believer's relationship with God.
5 Every believer is called to grow spiritually.
6 The Gospel should be proclaimed to all people.
7 Christians are called to love God and love people.
8 Believers should serve their communities.
9 Families are important and should be strengthened through godly principles.
10 Every person has God-given value and purpose.
11 The Church belongs to Christ, and believers from different Christian denominations can unite in prayer and Gospel mission.

We do not create denominational arguments. We celebrate the body of Christ united in true worship and Gospel commission.
